1) Measure around the chest at the fullest part just under the arms.
2) Measure around the waist over the belly button.
3) Measure over the hip bones at the strongest point when standing.
4) Measure from the crotch to the base of the ankle bone.
I have found that with shorts in particular it is a false economy to buy cheap ones, you will experience major discomfort in key areas - enough said. These shorts are a good fit and have a well designed pad insert to prevent chafing. I can definitely recommend them for road riding.
