Apidura Expedition Downtube Pack

The Expedition Downtube Pack (1.5L) is a brilliant space-saving solution for bikepackers and adventure cyclists looking to utilize every square inch of their bicycle frame. Engineered to fasten securely to downtubes and other similar diameter tubes, this versatile and compressible pack provides that crucial extra bit of storage without interfering with your pedalling clearance. With a generous 1.5-litre capacity, it is perfectly sized to swallow a standard 710ml water bottle, a heavy tool roll, or spare inner tubes, keeping the heaviest items low on the bike to maintain a stable, well-balanced center of gravity.

Adaptable and Stable Tube Mounting

Featuring a robust and highly stable velcro attachment system, this pack is designed to wrap firmly around a wide variety of bicycle tube shapes and profiles. The heavy-duty fastening mechanism ensures that your gear stays locked in place, remaining completely rattle-free even when you are rattling down rough gravel descents or navigating technical singletrack. The compressible design allows you to cinch the pack down tightly when it is not fully loaded, keeping the profile as sleek and aerodynamic as possible.

Optimised Placement Guidelines

To ensure maximum safety and peak performance on the trail, this pack is carefully optimized for main frame tubes and is not recommended for mounting on tubes with a circumference of less than 9.5cm, such as seat stays or front forks. Adhering to these guidelines guarantees a rock-solid fit that prevents the bag from slipping or shifting during intense efforts. For third-party retailers, this targeted piece of luggage serves as an essential add-on for any self-supported cyclist looking to maximize their carrying potential for multi-day expeditions.
