I really like this seat pack. It is waterproof which means your contents won’t get wet. The attachment strap is a simple clip around the saddle rails so the seat post won’t get scratched. It is half the weight of my old one and has a clip for a rear light. I highly recommend it.

I bought this to replace the Ortleib Micro 2 (0.5L) saddle bag on my gravel bike. The Ortleib is very robust and waterproof but requires a clip to be attached to your saddle all the time. It’s quite chunky! The Apidura Expedition Tool Pack 0.5L Saddle Bag looked a good replacement, same volume, nicely tucked under the Saddle and out of the way. Also a waterproof material. I have other Apidura stuff and it’s superb. As I’m running tubeless and paranoid, I carry two tubes (for 35mm tyres), tyre levers, patches and multitool. This all fits into the Ortleib tightly but well. Frustratingly, despite the, being the same size, the Apridura tapers towards the seat post and is not rectangular. No matter how I tried I could not get all the above kit in and was left with an empty space near the seat tube. Also, the closure flap is not sealed so on a soaking day, water could easily get in. Disappointed, I have had to send it back.
