Nice fit and improved leg grippers but a definite drop in quality compared to previous GT Mille shorts with cheap transfers instead of embossed branding and lycra feeling thinner and of lower quality. I've worn Mille shorts for 15 years and the standard has definitely reduced - sadly. Pad feels less cushioned that the previous model. Guess that's progress!

The Mille GT S11 seat pad features shock-absorbing 12mm high-density foam, maintaining perfect support over the course of a ride. Quality of Product
I am a lifelong Assos user. All my bibs are Assos but this is my first venture with the Mille’s, having used the RS ranges to date. I bought these for an ultra endurance event coming up. Sadly, first test ride of 70km and they are in the fancy dress draw. The pad is thicker than the RS, as advertised, but also cut wider, like a nappy. This leads to creasing which is not desirable in the undercarriage area. The legs are pretty non compressive and I thought the opposite would be desirable for endurance products. Also the grippers are very long and have some kind of silicone, which I hadn’t seen in years on a product. All in all, hugely disappointing, but wear them and you own them, so £135 in the bin.
