Assos UMA GT C2 Summer Womens Half Knicker

Perfect for cool summer days or early starts, Assos’ UMA GT C2 Summer Women's Half Knicker sits mid-calf for more coverage than a short, but less than a full tight.

The regularFit uses shaped panels and contoured for comfort in the riding position with the hipClick waist holding the knicker in place without any undue pressure which means that toilet breaks are a bit easier as there are no bib straps to deal with. The UMA GT C2 pad is perfect for longer rides and has 9mm of padding and a 3D Waffle construction with perforations for improved breathability. Assos’ goldenGate design only attaches the insert to the tight at the front and rear, allowing the central section to float and move with the body whilst pedalling.

I’m someone that likes a little bit more coverage than the standard shorts length but I also want to stay cool in the summer months. These tights were the perfect compromise. While coming to around mid calf on my 5ft4 stature they were very cool and comfortable. The legs did not ride up at all. The chamois was also one of the best I’ve tried but admittedly I haven’t worn these for roses over 50 miles but I have every confidence they’ll hold up over longer distances. Worth the money. I’m a UK12 and ordered the large.
