The main textile, Lightning, is a permanently waterproof barrier with more insulation than the Schloss Tex 3L textile found on the RS Rain Jacket Targa. Its native elasticity allows for four-season layering over various equipment, from summer-weight jerseys to heavier winter jackets. Bonded and taped hems, along with a flap-shielded zipper, ensure no gaps in waterproofing, while NACA Tec underarm construction enhances breathability and shields against road spray and precipitation. Reflective tape on the back enhances visibility in low-light conditions, and the internal chest pocket provides ample space for storing gloves.
