I wanted a pair of sunglasses that would be good for cycling with as well as wandering around the 'Riads' & 'Souks' of North Africa without looking too 'cyclist' -you know what I mean, the wrap-around ones. Let's give them a try! First: the lens are not clear to start, there is some tint, so no good for night riding. That being said, they transitioned quickly & without me even noticing - kudos. The Moroccan sun was very manageable & when the wind picked up blowing the Sahara into our faces they held their own, but not as well as the wrap-around glasses - so if you are you know it's going to be windy & sandy, bring the wrap-around. When walking around the markets & bazaars they were stylish, whilst managing the change of light admirably. I wore them every day for 10 days straight. It took a couple of days to stretch but then remained comfortable for the rest of the trip. So if you are looking for a good all-round pair of glasses for travel that will manage the variations in light, yet won't scream out 'cyclist' when off the bike, then you can't go too far wrong with these.
