Bought size XXL which are just big enough to fit Lake size 46 shoes. XL would absolutely not fit. They are a very snug fit over shoes and take quite a bit of pulling to get in. I’m wearing over Lake SPD shoes and the cleat, sole and heal fit neatly within the holes made to accommodate them. Tried first time today in wet conditions about 12 deg C. Feet much, much warmer than without. However, they do get very wet. The material is similar to my wetsuit and just like that it gets wet and holds water. After the ride my shoes are damp, not wet though and socks were dry (ish) with some moisture. Conclusion is that they keep your feet drier and warmer than just shoes, but they are 100% not waterproof. I’ll persevere with them as at least my feet were warm today which made for a pleasant change.

Are these overshoes waterproof ? Most neoprene is designed to let water through ie in wet suits ! I have Castelli overshoes at present. And they are good but NOT waterproof.
