Okay for cold dry days but absorb spray like a sponge when its wet. Durability also suspect. I've only used them for a couple of rides and somehow have a nick in the side of one cover and the under toe scuff protector already has holes. The zips are also a bugger to get started; thank God for the loop to give you something to pull against. Only moderately redeaming feature is that the covers are perfectly symmetrical so you can spread the toe wear by swapping them around which you can't do when the design is foot-specific. They also look nice. Overall not what I expect from Castelli given I live in Perfetto and Gabba jerseys in winter.
