I have been a Castelli fan for many years with multiple bib shorts and bib tights purchase with no complaints. I recently bought 2 pairs of Castelli Nano Bib tights and was very happy. I also both these Polare 3 tights and was surprised at the difference in the fit. They seem to be fitted for 'vanity' sizes rather than the normal Castelli medium fit. I am not the largest of riders and other positive reviews may be from riders with greater muscilature however for me they fit like Nora Batty's stoclkngs. Unfortunately having worn them on a very muddy winter ride I am not in a position to return. My advice, try them BEFORE removing packaging, especially if you aree on the slight side of the medium fit.

Fabrics are strategically placed; GORE-TEX INFINIUM WINDSTOPPER® X-fast makes up the entire front where the wind hits hardest, Nano Flex 3G is used in the seat area and back of the lower leg for splash protection, and Thermoflex on the back of the thighs for additional warmth.
A KISS Air2 seat pad cushions without feeling overly bulky, and effectively manages moisture, so you'll be comfortable in the saddle hour after hour. Up top, mesh bib straps sit smoothly against the body under a jersey and hold minimal moisture. Pulling on and removing the tight is made easy thanks to ankle zips and reflective strips aid visibility in low light.
