The Castelli R-A/D Short Sleeve Jersey kicks off a collaboration between Castelli and Richard Pearce, the architect, designer, futurist and co-founder of CHPT3, renowned for masterminding Team Sky's iconic 2017 kit.
Together, Richard and Castelli create unique cycling pieces that unite design, architecture, culture and performance. The collection will bring a fresh look to the peloton, with bold colours, arresting shapes and patterns, and materials selected for being both fast and eco-friendly.
Riding fast is a drag. Literally. But this R-A/D jersey will give you a low-drag cycling edge, achieving greater aero efficiency as speeds reach 30 to 55 km/h. Its fabric placement and seam construction are both engineered using Computational fluid dynamics (CFD). This has allowed Castelli to place fabrics and seams precisely for maximum aerodynamic gains. Meanwhile, the elbow-length sleeves with their soft raw-cut edges give a smooth jersey-to-skin transition, also shaving watts. And it looks sharp too. Look good - ride fast.
