Castelli Women's Perfetto RoS 2 Vest
The Castelli Women's Perfetto RoS 2 Vest has been designed with perfect cycling protection in mind, taking on a wide range of riding conditions. Castelli's team wanted a lightweight vest that would easily pack down into a pocket, going with you on any ride 'just in case'. But they also wanted it to be sturdy enough to resist splashes and provide warmth and wind protection while letting sweat escape.
The resulting vest is composed of a mixture of GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ and WINDSTOPPER® 203 Stretch fabric at the front and sleeves, offering windproofing with breathability. Stretchy Nano Flex fabric is used at the back, which is water-repellent and lets in enough wind to let you stay dry, without getting shivering cold.
The fit is form-fitting, saving you vital energy, with a shaped collar to keep your neck warm. 360-degree visibility comes via a reflective band below the pockets and another around the arm holes. This current iteration has been improved from its original design with an extra pocket and a two-way zip that can be used to adjust the vest's ventilation on the fly.
Compact and light enough to always carry, this smart vest will keep you warm on a cool day when the wind picks up unexpectedly or rain-soaked roads are throwing up spray. Perfection indeed.
