Ratchet EXP system
By moving the drive side hub bearing inside the inner 36 tooth ratchet, the Ratchet EXP system reduces the number of moving parts while giving the bearings a wider stance. This results in a hub that is up to 20% lighter, stiffer and more durable than the previous generation.
Lightweight construction
An extensively machined hub shell, axle and end caps make this the lightest 240 hub to date, with no compromise on performance or longevity.
Simple servicing
The Ratchet EXP system is built around a no tool design, with easy to remove machined end caps, ensuring straightforward servicing.
Durability
Custom made DT steel bearings provide outstanding durability and easy replacement, continuing the reputation the 240 has always been known for.
