Having bought two of the short sleeve endura pro sl 2's this year and been mightily impressed bought one of these in the sale in preparation for autumn. Tried this morning on a quick 15 miler in about 13 degrees no baselayer and nice and toasty but not too toasty. I can imagine this being ok down to about 5 or 6 degrees with a baselayer. Quality is superb again, think endura has become my go to brand. Reasonably priced but so so good. Bought quite a few castelli products down the years and these are better. For info I'm 5'11, 64 kg slim muscular build and small is perfect. Be warned these are meant to be pro fitting tops, so if you are carrying a few extra pounds I'd size up. One slight negative which is why I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could is the sleeves are a little too long, and I don't have short arms (as far as I know!).

Endura Pro SL Long Sleeve Jersey II
Made using soft, thermal fabric with high stretch for excellent insulation, the Endura Pro SL Long Sleeve Jersey II can be used as a stand-alone piece on cooler spring and autumn days or as part of a layering system when the winter temperatures really kick in. It is ideal for wearing under a windproof or waterproof layer to provide the heat retention needed on cold rides, but if the sun makes an appearance or the road rises upwards, then the outer layer can be stashed away and the jersey will provide great breathability.
The fabric is made from more than 80% recycled material and there are three open rear pockets for carrying extra layers, tools and nutrition, plus a zipped security pocket for cash and keys. Reflective details bring some added visibility when out on gloomy winter days.

Firstly, it's 80% recycled, which given the state of our planet is a really important move from them and I hope they expand that philosophy to the rest of their product line. It's also impeccably made and so warm. I actually can't quite comprehend how warm it is... sub 10 degrees with a long base and I was toasty. Could see that config being fine down to single digits. Arms a little long for me, but whatever, can't please them all. Love the massive central pocket for jacket etc. Zip pocket for keys is a nice touch too. Also worth reading up on their guarantee and repair service. Keep up the awesome work!
