Excellent bit of kit. Very noticeable, in fact verging on impossible to miss from the rear. It’s also very visible from the side, showing up at least 135º towards the front. The mount is very neat and holds the light securely. Pretty quick to recharge as well. As you can tell, I’m impressed and very pleased I bought it. Teamed it up with my Exposure front light that’s 10 years old and still going strong.
I had the old Flare model which always suffered from poor battery connection which tended to change mode or go off when on rough roads. The TraceR is the same size but is 100% reliable which is reassuring when TTing on dual carriageways. Three different power levels is a bonus, plus constant mode for group riding. The optional aero seatpost mount is a welcome addition. Nice bright light with good run time.
