Functionality & Quality: While the functionality of the garment is perfect (wind breaking & mild shower protection - but that's thanks to the patented material from PolarTec) , I was surprised to see that on a 'premium' overpriced item that the print was already peeling off as new. It does contain a side rear pocket but it is too loose & unstable (and looks weak) to hold a phone. The pocket is held inside by 2 pieces of tapes meaning that it's not stitched solidly on all sides, hence the unstability. Fixed centered rear pockets or front chest pockets are more practical in my experience. As for the peeled off print , fortunately the Sigma Sports Customer Service/ Warranty Team is always impeccable in solving issues! Design: Furthermore, I now doubt of MAAP's value & designs. I do own other garments from the same brand which function perfectly - but after careful thought , I can only say that they have not put enough effort in their design and thinking process after all these years except for updated colours. The appearance/style remains in my opinion, very basic ( too basic for this price). I am 1m70 & 57kg and it fits true to size. I use XS for an 85cm chest.

Recently converted to Maap products. This follows their typical formula - very good materials, good fit, functionally excellent, simple approach to design but possibly a question mark on value at this price point. Dual zipper works really well. I’m not the best bike handler but I could comfortably operate the zip on the move and zip up to access rear pockets or down to remove the gilet. Materials offer excellent wind proofing and surprisingly effective breathability. Product seems to be well made. Simple design approach seems like it will offer the longevity you’d look for at this price point.
