MAAP Team Evo Women's Cycling Bib Short

Conceived with advanced fabrics, a form-fitting cut and a supremely comfortable seat pad, the MAAP Team Evo Women's Bib Short ensures sublime levels of comfort during the longest and most intense days on the bike.

The primary Italian-made fabric is stretchy to support the muscles and super soft against the skin. This material is also highly breathable and has a sun protection rating of SPF 50+ making it ideal for hot, enduring rides. A durable water repellent coating is added to the material to stop light rain from soaking in, and high durability means that it won’t thin out or pill through countless wash cycles.

A svelte, female-specific cut is stabilised on the rider by the soft, elasticated bib straps and mesh back panel, while broad leg bands with silicone grippers prevent the short from annoyingly slipping up the thighs.

The 3D Thermo Moulded seat pad has a multi-density, ergonomic profile to support the rider in the saddle and reduce pressure on sensitive areas. Laser-cut perforations in the seat pad provide a soothing airflow while its seam-free construction eliminates the chances of chafing.

A flattering pair of shorts with really comfortable padding. I had a pair of £40 dhb bib shorts which I have been using for the past year and thought I would see how a more expensive pair of bib shorts compares. They are great and the padding is noticeably more comfortable (although the dhb shorts are amazing for the price) I bought a medium and although they could probably get away with being a little tighter, I think the size small would definitely be a step too small. I am 5ft5, weigh 54kg and usually wear a size 8/10 to help you as a guide with sizing.

I love these bib shorts but god knows who would fit an XS or S, they're teeny tiny. The thighs especially are super tight and I'm petite so if you have cycling legs, I don't know how these will fit you. I originally ordered a small but had to return for a medium. I'm 5 ft 4 and 58kg. Even so, they feel amazing and are really good quality - even if you have to squeeze into them. So I'll be keeping them, just wish they were a slightly more relaxed style. Perhaps they take some breaking in?
