MAAP and Kask join forces to create the MAAP x Kask Protone Icon Road Helmet, a harmonious merging of aesthetics, performance and safety. Safety comes via a combination of Kask technologies, ensuring should the worst happen you have proven safety systems to provide protection. The high-density foam core absorbs head impacts while the internal frame provides extra crash integrity. The helmet also meets the Kask Rotational Impact WG11 Test protocol, designed to ensure protection from rotational impacts.
To the outside, a durable shell, given the MAAP visual treatment, not only looks the part but offers excellent durability and protection against minor dings and bumps. This shell is also engineered for smooth aerodynamic performance, with a wind-tunnel-tested design and seamless upper and lower giving optimal airflow.
A well-fitting cycle helmet is a safer helmet. And here the OCTOFIT+ adjustment system makes it quick and simple to lock in just the right fit. A large rubberised dial lets you tighten the system with ease, giving a secure fit every time. Inside, the Tridimensional 3D DRY padding and CoolMax® give supreme comfort and the pads are removable and washable to keep them feeling fresh.

I have now completed a couple of short rides and a couple of century rides. Mainly in dry and warm weather but in occasional showers. Fantastic fit, really comfortable and the air vents kept my bonce cool. Good choice of colours and it looks good as well!!
