MET Drone II Wide Body TT/Tri Helmet
Created for the demands of time trialling and triathlon, the MET Drone II Wide Body TT/Tri Helmet has been raced to World Tour Time Trials and Ironman World Championships, proving its slippery aero performance. This second-generation Drone helmet has been refined and improved upon and delivers a claimed 13.5-second saving over a 40km time-trial compared to its predecessor. The wide body shape is engineered to channel airflow over the shoulders, reducing air turbulence and drag, saving energy throughout an event. The Linear Tail Design also allows for a lower, low-drag head position while on TT bars. A Mag-Clip visor provides a clear view and is easily swapped thanks to the magnetic fixtures.
Of course, comfort hasn't been compromised in pursuit of speed. The MET Safe-T Advanced Fit System gives both vertical and occipital adjustments, locking in the helmet for a perfect fit. Four air vents and internal channels ensure cooling airflow over the scalp, and the low-drag inlets are precisely positioned to keep air turbulence to a minimum. The EPS liner and polycarbonate shell offer reassuring impact protection, protecting the head during a spill.
