Mavic Cosmic Pro Carbon SL UST Clincher Wheelset
The Mavic Cosmic Pro Carbon SL UST Clincher Wheelset 2018 features road UST WTS (wheel-tyre system) technology for the lowest inertia in its category, resulting in instant acceleration. This full carbon wheelset is super lightweight at just 1450 grams, and is ready to perform, with low rolling resistance and increased traction and comfort - all factors that will lead to increased speed and improved performance.
The 40mm NACA profile rim has been wind tunnel tested and exhibits superior aerodynamic performance, further enhanced by the 25mm external rim and patented elliptical spokes. Whatever the weather, you can be assured of predictable braking thanks to the laser-treated brake track. Heat build up can sometimes be an issue in carbon rims however, in the Cosmic Pro, iTgMax technology eliminates this risk and provides excellent heat resistance and reliability.
Mavic's Yksion Pro UST tyres complement the wheels perfectly, with the 11 Storm compound to perfectly balance rolling efficiency and traction. An Instant Drive 360 freewheel is quick to engage and the contactless rubber seal and low weight both make for smooth, fast rolling.
