The ORTLIEB Vario PS QL2.1 26L Pannier Bag is extremely versatile. One side features the Quick-Lock attachment system for mounting to a luggage rack, while the other has a padded carrying system, ergonomic straps and a chest strap so you can use the Vario PS as a comfortable backpack when off the bike. Whichever side is not in use can be covered with a special flap to prevent exposed straps from bouncing around or getting caught. There's a huge 26-litres of space and a padded laptop compartment is included, with closure via a secure roll-top design. PVC-free, sustainably manufactured PS33 material protects the contents from the elements.
I have used it several times and the very first thing that I feel it is missing is another pocket or two. It has the front pocket and a side pocket. Inside, there is a laptop pocket, which is perfect. The switch between a backpack too a pannier is very quick and easy. Once the panniers were adjusted to fit on my bike rack, they were so easy to put on and take off. Great product but needs a few more pockets.
If you want a large robust pannier that easily converts into a backpack this is an excellent one
