I use cleats shoes for my usual rides and normal shoes for commutes or leisurely ride. After looking at all the options for SPD-SF adaptors, these seem a better option. These are basically sleeves that fits over the pedals and becomes a flat pedal. No tools, no fiddly adjustments or fittings needed. They only take seconds to fit and once on they are very secure. They feel just like your usual flats and they provide plenty of grip even in heavy rain. The only negative thing is, they look quite ugly once they are on but they do the job well and you’ll forget what they look like.

The adaptors were easy to fit over my SPD pedals and provide an excellent platform to commute to work and for other short rides where putting on the shoes is a pain.
