The Sidi Glacies Winter MTB Shoes are designed to offer exceptional protection and comfort during cold-weather rides. Whether it's a daily commute, the technical challenges of slippery MTB trails or the fun of gravel adventures, the Sidi Glacies provide all the comfort and performance needed to conquer any conditions. 

GORE-TEX weather protection

The Sidi Glacies lock in warmth and keep out the elements thanks to a PFC-free GORE-TEX EPE-based membrane with fleece insulation. The membrane ensures protection from muddy and rain-sodden trails while offering excellent breathability, perfect for harsh winter cycling conditions. The fleece insulation feels luxuriously comfortable, trapping body heat generated when pedalling. 

Tough and protective

The shoes are built with strategically placed ripstop outer fabric for durability, and the high ankle design with a Velcro® strap over the lacing system adds another layer of defence against moisture. The Sidi Glacies also feature a reinforced toe area for additional protection and durability tuned for challenging environments. The Quicklace system allows easy adjustments for quick fastening, while vents improve overall comfort by maintaining airflow.

Nylon composite X2NC sole

The Nylon composite X2NC sole is designed for off-road performance, providing excellent stiffness for efficient power transfer while maintaining the flexibility needed for rough terrain. Sidi rate the stiffness as 5-out-of-12, giving built-in shock damping, enhancing comfort over rough trails and pot-hole strewn gravel roads. 

Low-light visibility

For added safety during low-light conditions, reflective details ensure enhanced visibility, making these shoes a reliable choice for winter mountain biking, commuting and gravel riding. The heel loop makes pulling on the shoes easier at the start of your ride.

Pedal Compatibility

These off-road winter shoes are compatible with MTB and trekking pedal systems utilising the 2-bolt cleat system, such as Shimano SPD, Look Trekking and X-Track, crank brothers Candy, etc..

Sizing note: Sidi shoes run small and have a narrow fit. On length: if you're between sizes, size up. On width: if you have a wider foot, choose the Wide Fit version — don't try to compensate with a larger size in the standard.

Measure your foot by following these steps:

1) Place a piece of paper on the floor with the shortest side against the wall.

2) Put your bare foot on the paper with the heel pressing against the wall.

3) Make a mark on the paper at the tip of your longest toe.

4) Use a ruler to measure the distance between the mark you've just made and the bottom of the paper where your heel was placed. Round to the nearest mm.

Always measure both feet to get the most accurate size. If you find that your right and left foot are different in lengths, it is recommended that you opt for the larger size.

Pricey but effective, the fleeced lining certainly does what it’s supposed to do and allows me to ride in colder temperatures without the suffering. I have a few pair of Sidi cycling shoes which are size 43.5 however the winter boots are only available in full sizes and are slightly on the generous side having sized up, which is better than being tight and restricting the bloodflow to the feet though. Having worn them on a few cold morning rides I’m pleased to say my feet have actually been warm as toast.
