Specialized CO2 Trigger

The Specialized CO2 Trigger is a lightweight and compact CO2 refill system that allows for quick inflation in time-scarce conditions, such as race days or cold morning rides. The tool accommodates both 16g and 25g CO2 canisters, giving the versatility to use on both mountain bike tyres and high-pressure road tyres. Due to its compact size, the Specialized CO2 Trigger can fit inside any jersey pocket, ensuring you don’t need to head out with a mini pump which can force you to take a small rucksack.

Is this compatible with the new Roubaix SWAT box. If not any idea where I might get one that is

1. Hello, Thank you for your enquiry. The CO2 head on this is slightly too big to fit into a SWAT box, the Specilized SWAT Mini CO2 Head is what I would recommend to fit in the SWAT Box on a Roubaix https://www.sigmasport.co.uk/item/Specialized/SWAT-Mini-CO2-Head/GYAV Kind regards, Joe.

Can you screw in the CO2 and break the seal before placing on the tire valve? Seems like the head is what distributes the air kind of like an air compressor right?

1. That is correct, you can scew the CO2 cartridge onto the head and then add as little or as much air as you wish by just pressing the head onto the valve.
