like many older cyclists (I'm 60) the search for the perfect saddle (and pad) seems endless. I have tried >10 expensive saddles from all the "top" brands (and cheap ones too). Foir racing I arrived at the Berk Lupina (pefect lightweight and comfortable) but I wanted a saddle for longer all-day rides. Specialized Power Mirror saddle was unavailable so I bought a Fizik Antares Versus EVO R1 Adaptive 3D printed road bike saddle (139mm). I have since sold it because it did not suit at all (felt very hard and inflexible). The Specialized S-Works Power Mirror Saddle came back in stock and I bought one. Its fitted on my Specialized Roubaix expert (both outside and on the turbo trainer. Believe the hype, its incredible, at first it feels small but the progressive 3-D padding works a treat, I find the saddle sits back further but not with any loss of comfort. Outside it's a dream, however long and in whatever bib shorts I use (Assos, Pedal Mafia mostly) no rubbing or chaffing. On the trainer where ALL other saddles/pad combinations result in numb "nuts" I find I can ride without a problem for hours. It's fiercely expensive, yes, but it does the job brilliantly and (now I'm used to its looks) is pretty cool. The flex in the 3D padding is really clever, the central cleft much wider than the Fizik 3D saddle and overall the carbon fibre shell is far more flexible than the Fizik composite one. The flex is what I love about the Berk saddle too.

Specialized has partnered with 3D-printing specialists to create Mirror Technology, which consequently produces the upper padding structure of this saddle. Realised in a multi-density, polymer lattice formation this new padding construction adapts infinitely to the rider's anatomy to result in optimal sit bone support. A Body Geometry tuned, deep and wide central relief zone complements by ensuring healthy blood flow and by eliminating nerve impingement in sensitive areas of both male and female riders.
The short-nosed silhouette is designed for more aggressive riding positions and for when the rider is on the limits of exertion. At the same time, a profile that blends the original Power shape with that of the Power Arc increases the scope of comfort to a broader range of cyclists.
The one-piece padding construction is bonded seamlessly to the full carbon base that is light, strong and compliant. Carbon rails lower the weight further but are also vibration damping, while a non-slip cover completes by establishing shape retention and by aiding power transfer.

I’ve been riding on perfectly comfortable Selle saddles for years....but this is a different level of comfort. No shifting around in the saddle at all, just enough give with it feeling too soft and light as a feather. A lot of money, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Is this saddle likely to fit a 2020 Merida Reacto Disc 6000 seatpost?
Hi Graham, I would recommend contacting your local Merida retailer for compatibility on this, If the seatpost is a top down clamp then this should work if it uses a side on clamp you may need new parts from Merida , Many thanks Joe W
