I bought this product to allow me to carry a single Twix finger on rides with me. The build quality is great, and throughout the winter months it served me well. However, during a recent spell of warmer weather, I reached the top of a large climb and decided to open my single-finger Twix holder, only to discover that the midday sun had turned the contents into a molten caramel, chocolate and biscuit-based slurry. Unable to recover the Twix finger by hand, I made the executive decision to seek assistance from my CO₂ canister. After some careful evaluation, I established that the best option was to pierce a small hole in the back of the tube and attach the CO₂ canister. I then took aim, opened my mouth, and squeezed the trigger. It was around the 0.53 millisecond mark that I realised I had made a grave mistake. The Twix was ejected from the holder with the force of a confectionery shotgun, coating my face in molten caramel, chocolate, and pebble-dashed biscuit. Fortunately, I was wearing cycling glasses, otherwise I fear I may never have seen the light of day again. In fairness, there was no warning supplied with the biscuit holder advising users not to attach a CO₂ canister and turn it into a high-pressure confectionery cannon. Excellent product, but maybe not ideal for summer climbs. Recommend storing Twix fingers with caution.
