As the adjustment is at the lever end, it is simpler to set up than many others and means that the barrel adjuster can be altered on the fly if necessary. A 21mm sealed cartridge bearing also contributes to the light action, and the precision-machined construction ensures longevity and durability. There is even a breakaway point designed into the lever so that it doesn’t damage the whole unit in the event of a crash, with the axle being both easy and inexpensive to replace.
