Bike Torque Wrenches
Whether you're fitting a carbon seatpost, installing a stem, or torquing a cassette lockring to spec, a bike torque wrench is one of the most important tools in any home workshop. Overtightening is one of the leading causes of carbon damage, and undertightening is a safety risk. A good torque wrench removes the guesswork. Browse our range of bike torque wrenches from Park Tool, Topeak and many more brands trusted by professional mechanics and dedicated home mechanics alike.

Choosing the Right Torque Wrench for Your Bike
Not all torque wrenches are built the same way, and buying the wrong one is a frustrating mistake. Here's what to consider before you buy.
What Nm Range Do You Need?
Most bicycle fasteners fall between 2Nm and 15Nm. Carbon components like seatpost clamps, handlebar stems, and aerobars, typically call for 4–6Nm. Pedal threads and bottom bracket cups sit at the higher end, often 30–40Nm. A wrench with a range of 2–24Nm covers the vast majority of road, gravel, and MTB applications. If you primarily work on carbon components, look for a wrench with fine resolution at the lower end of the scale.
Preset vs Adjustable Torque Wrenches
Preset torque wrenches are set to a single fixed value, simple, reliable, and ideal if you have one or two specific fasteners you torque regularly (a carbon seatpost clamp, for example).
Adjustable torque wrenches cover a range of values and give you the flexibility to work across every fastener on the bike. Most workshop builds should opt for an adjustable model. Click-type adjustable wrenches give an audible signal when the target torque is reached, the most intuitive and error-proof type for home use.
