Matt Stephens joins Danny MacAskill on a whistle stop tour of Edinburgh, as he revisits the sites and street furniture that made him a household name, and worldwide recognition as perhaps the best trials rider of all time.

Retracing the steps of his now infamous Inspired Bicycles film, Danny treats Matt to a personal tour of the city that made him famous. But Matt’s got an ulterior motive, to shoot an extreme trials riding film of his very own… It’s not every day you get the opportunity to ride with Danny MacAskill.

Danny pays tribute to the creative process, sharing his unique outlook on the world, and how the wildest tricks he could imagine came to life with the support of his partners like Red Bull. But now there’s a new talent in town, will Danny’s back catalogue live up to Matt’s ‘Supercut’?

The Location

Born, bred and mastering his craft to make him one of the world's most exciting trials riders, Danny MacAskill spent many years in the city of Edinburgh, a place that holds many memories for the Red Bull athlete. It felt only right then for Matt Stephens to join Danny for a spin down memory lane as the pair explored some of Danny's most iconic shoot locations.

Enjoying a pre ride breakfast at The City Cafe, an American diner-style restaurant just off The Royal Mile. Tricks a plenty ticked off, Matt and Danny headed to Brass Monkey Drummond Street, a quaint pub in the centre of Edinburgh, for a well deserved sit down and chat.
