Altra’s Lone Peak 5 LTD Edition Trail Running Shoes are a celebration of 10 years in business, combining some retro style with bang up to date technology.
Comfort is assured by the use of the wide FootShape toe box, which also improves forefoot stability whilst the zero drop design promotes low impact landings and good running form throughout the stride. Heel support is provided by an external TPU structure for better foot alignment.
The EGO midsole increases comfort at the same time as providing excellent energy rebound for more speed and less fatigue, and includes an integrated StoneGuard to protect against sharp rocks and trail debris. Underneath the shoe, Altra’s Trailclaw metatarsal lugs grip superbly off-road for better toe-off with the MaxTrac rubber formulated for traction and durability.
