Big Agnes’ 3-season Fly Creek HV UL2 Solution Dye Bikepack Tent has been specifically designed for life on two wheels.
The Shortstik Poleset packs down to be just 12” long so that it fits into a frame bag or onto the handlebar, yet when erected the clever design gives 107cm of headroom with near-vertical walls adding a sense of space. Internal pockets and gear shelf provide room to organise any kit and media cord routing helps with headphones and charging cables.
There is a decent sized porch for cooking in or storing gear and the door’s storm flaps and dry-entry design help to keep any rain outside the tent. Pitching is quick and easy using the clips and Velcro tabs and the guylines are reflective making the tent easier to find by torchlight and so that they don’t cause a trip hazard after late-night toilet visits.
When packed down, the compression stuff sack has webbing daisy chains on the outside making it easier to attach to the bike.
Big Agnes’ Solution Dye technology is a much more environmentally friendly technique than the standard process as it uses 50% less water and 80% less energy. It also takes 80% fewer chemicals and increases the tent’s resistance to UV damage.
