The everyday wheel for high performance cyclists, Bontrager's Aeolus 5 features the Dual Direction Design (D3) rim profile which offers the fastest aerodynamic shape available with the best stability in cross-winds. A 27mm x 50mm one-piece moulded carbon fibre rim provides the best aero shape and allows a lightweight construction. Bontrager designed carbon fibre hubs have DT star ratchet internals and nail head spokes to deliver fast, reliable engagement and superior wheel stiffness.
- 24 DT aerolite spokes with Alpina locking alloy nipples
- Includes skewer, wheel bag, (required) Carbon Stop brake pads and alloy Presta valve extender
- Compatible with both Shimano and SRAM 9/10spd cassettes
- Can be converted to Campagnolo compatible with freehub part number 230049
