I needed to replace the 42cm Pro VR-C bars that came with my Émonda SL 7 with some 38cm bars and decided to upgrade to the Pro IsoCore VR-CF while doing so. The damping built into the carbon lay-up and the EVA pads on the tops and drops don't obviously change the feel but after a while riding you notice that your hands and wrists don't go numb so readily, which is great for those longer rides where fatigue can build up. Overall, if you're upgrading your bars anyway then given that these aren't a lot more expensive than a regular carbon bar I'd say the damping is worth the extra bucks.
