The Campagnolo Interface DTI EPS V3 is a compact yet highly innovative component that enhances the award-winning electronic transmission system. Its new design and advanced technologies improve integration, charging, diagnostics and wireless communication, offering a significant upgrade to the EPS experience.

Enclosed within the Power Unit and interface, Digital Tech Intelligence transmits, receives and processes data thousands of times per second. This electronic brain synchronises all rider commands instantly, sending accurate and reliable signals to the front and rear derailleurs. DTI also continuously monitors the drivetrain, checking battery levels and ensuring the correct operation of all components.

The Zero Settings procedure allows the system to learn the reference positions of the chain on the sprockets and chainrings. This ensures the correct functioning of the drivetrain under all operating conditions. Movements of the derailleurs during this phase are continuous and precise, allowing adjustments down to a hundredth of a millimetre.

Riding Settings allow the rider to fine-tune the reference positions of the front and rear derailleurs. This is especially useful when changing wheels or sprocket configurations. Adjustments can be made from any chainring, with each lever press moving the rear derailleur by 0.25mm and the front derailleur by approximately 0.1mm. The system then recalibrates all chainring positions based on the new settings.

The EPS system features automatic malfunction detection. When a fault is identified, an RGB LED on the Power Unit illuminates, indicating the area of the issue. Different colours correspond to different types of malfunctions, with recommended actions provided to the rider.
