Created for framesets that feature direct mounts for caliper brakes under the chainstays, this eecycleworks G4 Direct Mount Rear Brake Caliper makes a superb upgrade.

Weighing in at just under 79 grams, Cane Creek have used an extremely lightweight construction to produce this impressively lightweight rear caliper brake. A mixture of CNC machined high-grade aluminium, titanium and stainless steel combine to achieve this extremely low weight without compromising on stopping power.

Even modulation is achieved by the alignment of the brake cable, above the centre of the caliper, and a barrel adjuster that pivots to accept the cable at the optimal angle throughout the pulling range of your brake lever.

After initial set-up, adjusting and aligning the caliper is done without using tools, saving time and effort. This caliper brake can be used on rims with an external width of 19-28mm (optimised for 22-28mm), and the Quik Strut release allows quick and easy release of your wheel, even with tyres up to 31mm wide.

Please note: Brake pads are not included. The caliper brake shoes accept Shimano style brake pads.
