The bib tights are comfortable and the seat pad is exceptional. I know my size (L for 180cm 72kg), so that's never an issue for me. I have used them in temperatures around 3 C for a couple of hours and did not feel any discomfort or cold . They stand up well to wet weather to aid comfort but I have not subjected them to prolonged rain so can't comment how long they will keep you dry. It washes well and from past experience, I will get a few years wear from it, especially as quality control seems to have improved from a few years ago. Highly recommend these bib tights.

Castelli Sorpasso ROS Bib Tight
When the mercury hits rock bottom, but the training needs to continue, Castelli’s Sorpasso ROS Bib Tight will ensure warmth and comfort throughout the ride. Designed for use on the coldest days, the tight combines Nano Flex 3G for insulation, water-resistance and fit with Nano Flex Xtra Dry fabric on front-facing areas and the backside for even better water and wind-resistance.
Castelli Sorpasso Bib Tights Highlights
An anatomical cut hugs the tight to the body in the riding position whilst still allowing total freedom of movement with the lightweight straps keeping it in place without compromising comfort or breathability up top.
Zips at the ankles of the Castelli Sorpasso ROS bib tights help when pulling on and removing the tight, with long reflective patches increasing visibility to traffic approaching from behind. At the core of the tight is a Progetto X2 Air seat pad made using seamless construction techniques so there is no discomfort or chafing.

Reviews
Flexible material and suitable for the +3 - +15 C temperature range. Fit is tight even for Castelli, this model is tighter and a bit shorter than my old Castelli Nanoflex bib tights. I am 184cm, 82kg and use 32cm width/32cm length in regular pants, XL in Assos bibs and XL in Castelli Nanoflex bib tights. I ordered the Castelli Sorpasso bib tights in XL as well, but could have gone with XXL instead.

Q & A
1 question answered
Hi, I'm 178cm, 84ish waist. Your size guide says M, the Castelli size guide suggests M, my perfetto is M. However, my Entrata bib shorts are L and fit well. I'm reading loads of different people about my size say go L. Advice much appreciated. Thanks!
I'm 180cm, 79cm waist and got the large. These basically fit well but straps are a little tight on the shoulders. I'd think L would probably be better for you.
About Castelli
At the front since 1876.
Castelli has been at the front of cycling apparel since 1876, founded in Milan as the original maker of pro race kit. From the first cycling jerseys to today's WorldTour-proven aero garments, the brand has spent nearly 150 years putting innovation onto the backs of the fastest riders in the world.
Castelli outfitted the first organised cycling teams in Italy and has been a constant presence in the pro peloton ever since. The Scorpion logo appears on more WorldTour podiums than almost any other apparel mark.
