This allows Chris King to produce products to very tight tolerances that give a precise fit between frame and components for long-lasting, silent and most of all an extremely smooth interface. In the case of the Threadfit 30 bottom bracket, this manifests itself in the easy installation and servicing and the lovely smooth low friction action of the angular contact bearings. These bearings can be kept smooth with the integrated grease system, or fully serviced and replaced if required, so there is no excuse for not keeping the bottom bracket spinning like new.
