Whether you are after the ultimate race bike, or you want a bike you can race but that is also comfortable for long days in the saddle, the Colnago C60 Italia Electronic Disc Frameset (High Geometry) could be your perfect match. This is a disc version for extra stopping power and has a higher headtube for those who suit a slightly more relaxed geometry without having to add lots of spacers.

The star shaped head tubes run the length of the tubes with no round cross section where they meet the lugs, so the front triangle is exceptionally stiff laterally and forces caused by rough road surfaces are better distributed for added comfort.

The bottom bracket lug has a new design with star-shaped tubing inserts to improve stress distribution and consequently allow for reduction in wall thickness. Strength is increased by the internal cable routing being integrated into the bottom bracket junction. This bottom bracket shape has allowed for a new oversized downtube; the largest produced by Colnago. Efficiency and comfort are both increased and weight is kept low. The asymmetric seat tube and 31.6mm seat post increase lateral stiffness further.

Another development is in the chainstays and seatstays where the design aim was to reduce road buzz for increased comfort, decreased fatigue and improved performance. The seatstays are conical in shape with a tapered diameter and reduced wall thickness, whilst the chainstays have internal ribs for stiffness and compliance.

This C60 is only compatible with electronic groupsets (Shimano DI2 and Campagnolo EPS).
