Lighter and stiffer than the C59, with exceptional comfort and handling, the Colnago C60 Matt Carbon Electronic Frameset (Sloping Geometry) will make you want to ride further and harder, whether racing, training or out for a weekend club run at a more relaxed pace. This frameset follows on from the highly acclaimed C59 and has been fully handmade in Italy, with the care that Colnago are renowned for.

Years of development have gone into the design process. Colnago have moved away from traditional round cross section tubing and instead have gone for the iconic star shaped lugs and tubes first used by Colnago on the Master, increasing their volume and reducing wall thickness. The result is increased lateral stiffness and improved comfort over rough surfaces.

Thinner star shaped tubing in the oversized downtube decreases weight and further increases lateral stiffness, and road buzz is reduced. There is no doubt that the C60 has striking aesthetics, and the asymmetrical seat tube contributes to this, also increasing the strength of the frame.

The chainstays have internally ribbed tubing and have a tapered design, seamlessly narrowing towards the dropouts, resulting in reduced road buzz and increased vertical compliance. Improved handling and enhanced grip through the rear wheel allow for a more stable ride over rough surfaces.

Flatter, wider seatstays increase lateral stiffness and improve handling whilst weight is reduced further. This design also provides suspension-like properties with a damping effect to make your ride even more comfortable.

For seamless integration of the tubes, the bottom bracket lugs have been beefed up and the housing uses thinner carbon layers to keep the weight down. This new design is the perfect platform for Colnago's Threadfit 82.5 system which combines the reliability of a BSA system with the stiffness of a Pressfit. Threadfit 82.5 is versatile, compatible with all versions of Pressfit 86.5 bottom brackets, and practical, with two removable and replaceable threaded sleeves, should wear occur.

Colnago use their most advanced rear dropouts yet - CNC forged for increased strength and reduced weight. This frame is only compatible with electronic groupsets.
