Colnago's most recently released top-end frameset, designed to run disc brakes so you can take advantage of the improved stopping power.

This edition of the Road Disc Frameset is a replica of the C64 used by UAE Team Emirates and has a sloping geometry that suits the majority of riders and allows you to get into an aggressive racing position. A number of updates to its C60 predecessor include a redesigned fork, a unidirectional carbon finish and improved tyre clearance, and result in an even lighter and stiffer frameset, that offers the exceptional ride feel that every Colnago is renowned for.

Colnago C64 Road Semi-Integrated Disc Frameset Team Edition (Sloping Geometry)

In celebration of their 64th year, Colnago have released the C64 and included this UAE Team Emirates replica model. This Road Frameset has a sloping geometry and has been designed to accommodate disc brakes so you can ride and race with complete confidence in your ability to stop fast. Handmade in Italy to Colnago's exacting standards and using only the finest quality carbon tubing, this frameset features a number of upgrades compared to it's C60 predecessor to further reduce weight, increase stiffness and enhance ride quality. The new UD (unidirectional) carbon finish shaves off some extra grams and, together with the other changes, results in an approximate weight reduction of 270 grams.

With a redesigned fork featuring an external rib shape and internal rib in the steerer tube, stiffness and strength are improved. There is no need for an expander plug, and the C/D steerer tube shape allows neat aesthetics, with the brake housing running from the stem. The 12mm thru-axle of the C60 remains but is now threaded.

The lighter, thinner walls, and slight changes to the shape of the headtube improve side stiffness, and the headset utilises Colnago Concept technology, but with a polymer composition to improve vibration damping and reduce fatigue.

There is a narrower lower portion to the downtube that perfectly matches the rear triangle, and a recessed bottle cage area that creates additional torsional stiffness and cuts drag. Cable stops for those looking to run a mechanical set up are tucked in out of the wind, behind the headtube.

The seat tube and seat tube lug are now a stiffer single piece, and the seat post, based on that of the V2-R, is aerodynamic and improves vertical compliance for a more comfortable ride. 15 grams are knocked off by the use of a hidden integrated seat clamp that has a single removable part tightened from underneath.

Colnago's proven ThreadFit82.5 system remains, and with the cable guide moulded into the bottom bracket lug, there is a larger radius for smoother shifting. The rear triangle now has combined dropouts and chainstays, adding vertical compliance and retaining lateral stiffness. Asymmetric chainstays ensure efficient power transfer while the 12mm thru-axles are threaded, and co-moulded flat mount brake provisions feature.

For riders looking for top braking in the wet and dry, the added versatility of 28mm tyre clearance, and the ability to run both mechanical and electronic groupsets, the Colnago C64 could be the ideal basis for building up that dream bike.
