Features
- Tubeless: the patented carcass construction is robust and impervious against damage from foreign objects. The result : versatility, lower weight and a super-attractive design. With this design, tyres can be used both tubeless or with an innertube.
- BlackChili compound: Nano technology used to produce the carbon black particles that are used to reinforce the rubber compound. Continental refine special synthetic rubbers with natural rubber to create high performance tread mixtures. Tailored for the needs of the each tyre, in this case, more speed!
- Lazer Grip, to make you one with the road. The lazered micro profile structure expands over the tire’s shoulder and provides outstanding cornering.
- Vectran™: The benchmark in puncture protection Vectran™ is a synthetically manufactured high-tech fibre from a natural model. Like spider silk, Vectran™ is a liquid-crystalline polymer (LCP). Vectran™ is spun from the melted liquid polymer Vectra and processed further to a multi-strand thread. Spider silk like Vectran™ has an enormous tear resistance at a very low weight: Exactly the right properties to process into a premium Continental bicycle tire as a puncture protection insert. A Vectran™ Breaker is lighter, more flexible and protects more effectively against cuts than the comparable nylon breaker. Vectran™ Breaker does not adversely affect the rolling resistance.

Been racing and training on these for past 18 months (spring and summer) Can’t fault them especially at the competitive price offered. They strike a good balance between performance, feel and durability. Set up tubeless with little effort. Rear typically lasts a season of racing, front as you’d expect a little while longer

Hi there, One tyre. Our road tyres, including the GP5000 TT TR, are sold individually, so the price shown is per tyre and you'd add two to the basket for a pair. Thanks Matt
