I bought this pump to take abroad when I travel with my bike box. It is compact, easily fitting into the jersey pocket and is very easy to use. It's lighter than carrying CO2 cartridges and will inflate to a chosen PSI, when it switches off automatically. When fully charged it will inflate three 28 mm road tyres from zero to 70 PSI. When travelling, it means I gain a kilo in weight from not having to take a small track pump.

The Trek Air Rush Electric Pump is a compact and innovative electric pump that does away with the faff of inflating tyres after a flat fix. It also makes top-ups before and during rides a quick and simple operation. Simply press the pump onto either the Presta or Schrader valve, press the start button, and hey-presto, watch as the digital pressure gauge ticks up to your desired pressure. The bright colour LED screen indicates current pressure and allows you to set the target pressure, getting the perfect set-up for the ride. Charging is via a USB-C port, and one full charge gives the pumping power of at least 4 16 g CO₂ cartridges.

I bought a cheaper mini pump, that I used twice when changing tyres and was dissappointed with it - slow rate of inflation and didn't inflate both tyres to required pressure. I decided on the Trek pump as it had good reviews and a recognised brand. Very pleased with purchase. Easy to use, simple to check tyre pressures and fits in jersey pocket. I still carry a mini-pump but no longer need a track pump. Happy to recommend
