The Joule allows you to record and track in real-time data including, power (current, average and max), heart rate (current and average), cadence (current and average), speed (current, average and max), energy expenditure, ride distance and ride time along with a programmable odometer.

This data can then be uploaded to the included software or third party apps, like Strava, for detailed analysis. With the CycleOps Pro Series Powerbeam Pro Trainer with Joule GPS (ANT+) you can utilise CycleOps Virtual Training software (subscription sold separately) or other turbo training tools such a s Zwift or TrainerRoad.

For the trainer itself, CycleOps have paid particular attention to making sure that the Powerbeam is durable and easy to use. The machined flywheel is extra durable and reduces wheel slippage when using a turbo trainer tyre (sold separately). The quick-cam locking mechanism allows fast installation and removal of bike so you can get a quick session in whenever it's convenient for you.
