A great upgrade to save weight and improve reactivity, the DT Swiss CR 1400 DICUT Clincher Disc Brake Rear Wheel breathes new life into any cyclo-cross, fast gravel or road bike thanks to its resilient build and refined design.

A light but incredibly strong aluminium rim gifts a spritely sensation on any climb and leaps away from corners under acceleration. The shallow rim depth is stable and easy to control, even when the wind is blowing hard from the side. A broad, 22mm wide internal rim width mates perfectly with tubeless-ready or standard clincher tyres helping them to realise lower rolling resistance and heightened levels of comfort.

The highly regarded DT Swiss 240 hub has a DICUT shell format with a wider flange spacing to increase lateral stiffness and encases super-smooth bearings that lower rotational friction markedly. The freehub has a 36-tooth ratchet system that grants near-instant engagement under power. DT Swiss Aero Comp spokes link the build together with an evenly tensioned two-cross lacing pattern.
