DT Swiss Endurance Aero 111 ERC 1100 WTS 45mm Front Wheel

The aerodynamic performance of these wheels has been meticulously fine-tuned, with every element of the aero rims, spokes, and hubs designed to perfection. To further enhance the wheel-tyre system (WTS), the need for an aerodynamic tyre became evident. As no existing tyre met the strict requirements for low aero drag and balanced handling, Swiss Side and DT Swiss collaborated to develop a tailored solution. Partnering with Continental, who contributed advanced rubber technology, they created the AERO 111 front wheel tyre, designed to perfectly complement the wheel and set new aerodynamic standards.

The tyre features 48 evenly distributed small cavities, known as vortex generators, which are specifically designed to manage airflow turbulence around the front wheel. This innovation reduces drag across the entire wheel-tyre system, resulting in a more efficient ride.
