At just 23mm deep the DT Swiss P 1800 SPLINE 23mm Clincher Rear Wheel is unaffected by crosswinds and the aluminium brake track provides good wet weather stopping power making it a great winter training wheel option. However, as it only weighs 906 grams and features bladed spokes it won’t feel outgunned in town sign sprints or long sportives. The wide rim is sleeve joined rather than pinned, and is tubeless-ready.
