Edco AeroSport Furka Wheelset White

Edco went back to the drawing board with their Edco AeroSport Furka Wheelset White. The wheel is made from a Reynolds rim to provide superior levels of aerodynamics proficiency. The new rim shape is based on advanced aircraft technology and is called Dispersive Effect Termination (DET). What DET does is dramatically reduce the turbulence caused by bike wheels moving through the air by producing and almost exaggerated "V" point.

Aerodynamics have been further improved with their specially developed rim drilling machine, to create smaller spoke holes at a perfect angle in the narrow point of the V-shaped aero rim.

The medium depth 58-millimetre rims provide the perfect all round aero wheel and thanks to their UD finish and grippy CTg braking surface with CryoBlue brake pads (included), they are just about ready for anything. This optimised braking surface has been proven to reduce the braking temperature by up to 38˚C whilst also increasing the total heat tolerance to approximately 315˚C.

On the rear wheel the MultiSys AntiBite cassette body, allows quick and powerful engagement so you can transfer the maximum amount of power to the road. The cassette is also compatible with Campagnolo 10/11, Shimano 10/11 and SRAM. The race proved Edco SuperD front and rear hub provide lightweight and strong lateral and vertical stiffness for an optimised level of drag reduction, especially when transferring a lot of torque through to the road.

Included are two wheel bags, two Continental Grand Prix 4000S II tyres and the durable and lightweight QR-S2 Customised Edco chromium-molybdenum quick release skewers, so you'll be ready to ride from the word go.
