1) Measure around the chest at the fullest part just under the arms.
2) Measure around the waist over the belly button.
As title explains- look great but the size guide is way out, I'm a 34 waist & according to the size guide i need a medium, definitely not they were way to small, very tight. Ordered a large & the waist band hugs a bit tight but not too bad, the leg openings however could do with being a little bit smaller to give a fitted look as apposed to having a loose look. Overall after a few hours on the bike... generally comfortable ,nice & light.
A good budget pair of shorts. The pad is a bit thinner than on more expensive shorts but I found them more comfortable than I was expecting for short rides of a couple of hours.
