The FFWD F4R Carbon Clincher Wheelset features a full carbon fibre rim construction and is compatible with Shimano cassettes. Built around the popular and race-proven DT Swiss 240 Hubs, these wheels offer smooth and reliable performance, while the 45mm rim depth balances aerodynamic efficiency and crosswind stability perfectly.
Handmade in the Netherlands, this wheelset has been built from the highest quality carbon fibre, resulting in a net weight of just 1265 grams. This, combined with the semi-deep 45mm profile, ensures efficient climbing no matter how blustery the conditions or the gradient ahead. Featuring an external rim width of 22.4mm the F4R is suited to pair with clincher tyres up to 30mm, enhancing grip and reducing rolling resistance for a confidence inspiring ride every-time.
Utilising 20 front and 24 rear straight pull spokes, the weight is further reduced without compromising the wheels strength. Additionally, the DT Swiss 240 hubs feature sealed bearings for smooth performance and high levels of durability all year round.
FFWD suggest that these wheels are suitable for riders weighing up to 100kg. Whilst riders over 100kg can technically still use this product, please note that they may be unsuitable for use on all terrains.
