Introducing the Sprint Workstand from Feedback Sports. A great new addition to the range, it's especially suited to high-end carbon frames or bikes that are otherwise awkward to clamp in a regular workstand, such as those with an aerodynamic seat post (eg. aerodynamic road bikes, time trial bikes and triathlon bikes). It has flexible mounting options to accommodate most types of dropout. Out of the box, it is compatible with 100-millimetre front quick-release dropouts, or 130/135 millimetre quick release rear dropouts. Adaptors are available for 15 and 20-millimetre front through axles, alongside 135 x 12 and 142 x 12 bolt through rear axles. This, combined with its light weight and compact size, means the stand is perfectly suited for race days and work on the road.
I needed a stand I could secure a bike without clamping any seat post or tubing, it probably does take longer to mount the frame and then use the through axle but the versatility far outweighs any negatives, I hope this will be the last workshop stand I need to buy.
I've been putting up with my old workstand, grumbling at it every time I used it, for years now. The final straw was using my friend's workstand a few weeks ago - what was I thinking, using that great cast-iron lump for all these years?! So I did the inevitable research, and decided that I'd go for a 'bench type' stand, largely because of the flexibility they offer in terms of the working height. The 360 degree revolving facility also seemed like a good idea. My research brought me to a choice between the Feedback Sports, and the similar Park Tools Team Issue stand. I opted for the Feedback Sports, despite the slightly higher price, and haven't regretted the choice for a second. The quality of the engineering and construction is just so much better than the Park Tools rival - which I've seen in several LBSs. Having used it a few times now, I'd certainly recommend a bench type stand over the more familiar clamp designs - the flexibility offered regarding working height is just so much more useful than you'd ever imagine!

Both the 12x100mm and the 12x142mm thru axle adapters are included as standard when purchasing the stand. This is in addition to QR and 15mm adapters of similar sizes (including boost). Hope this helps - answering to clarify because as you mentioned, the Q&A is vague and would suggest otherwise.
